Assistant Manager – Campsite Holiday Park
New Forest, Hampshire
Up to £30,000 subject to experience.
We are recruiting an Assistant Manager to fill this exciting role working for a busy Camping Park in the New Forest.
The Park offers camping for Motorhomes, Touring Caravans, Tents, Glamping lodges and Huts.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in holiday park management with the ability to coach, lead and motivate the team around you.
You will have customer service, leisure and marketing experience, a good knowledge of social media and be a competent, confident communicator, in person, on the telephone and written.
A knowledge of the holiday park, Caravan and Motorhome industry is essential, we will offer extensive training, together with all the help and support you need to fulfil your potential.

The role and responsibilities include:
- Literate both in written and spoken communications
- Computer literate
- Monitoring and implement pitching requirements
- Taking bookings
- Booking correspondence
- Chasing payments
- Scheduling staff rotas
- Supervising and monitoring cleanliness and tidiness of park
- Supervising and monitoring maintenance tasks
- Responding to emails
- Opening up in the morning
- Closing at end of day with end of day runs
- Simple accounting, reconciling takings
- Monitoring ordering and invoices
- Shop stock ordering and rotation
- Shop cashier
- Baking off frozen goods
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in the Holiday Park industry
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident, well presented and able to work as part of a team.
- Honest, professional approach to customers.
- Committed to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
- No more than 3 Job roles in the last 6 years.

Working Hours;
Flexibility to work long days, 5 days per week in the summer / holiday periods
2-3 days per week winter working November to February by arrangement
